ZIMINIAR is a dæmon ("daimon") featured in Pseudomonarchia Dæmonum, an appendix to Johann Weyer's De Præstigiis Dæmonum, also known as On the Tricks of Dæmons, and in Ars Gœtia, the 1st book of Lemegeton Clavicula Salomonis, also known as The Lesser Key of Solomon.

Pseudomonarchia Dæmonum[]

In Pseudomonarchia Dæmonum, ZIMINIAR, addressed as "ZYMYMAR", is amongst 4 dæmons ("daimones") who preside over the north ("septentrio"), the east ("oriens"), the south ("meridies") and the west ("occidens") respectively, with ZIMINIAR reigning as king of the north, AMAYMON, addressed as "AMOYMON", reigning as king of the east, CORSON, addressed as "GORSON", reigning as king of the south and GÄAP, addressed as "GOAP", reigning as king and as prince of the west. Together, they hold authority over the 69 featured dæmons.

Additionally, the 4 dæmons preside over fire ("ignis") 🜂, earth ("terra") 🜃, air ("aer") 🜁 and water ("aqua") 🜄 respectively, with GAAP reigning as emperor ("imperator") of fire 🜂 and of the south, ZIMINIAR reigning as emperor of earth 🜃 and of the north, AMAYMON reigning as emperor of air 🜁 and of the east and CORSON reigning as emperor of water 🜄 and of the west. Individually, each of them holds authority over a 4th of the 72 featured dæmons.
